Why did you choose a career in the food and hospitality industry?

I found eating together at a table with friends and family is one of the best things in life, especially when it’s an important celebration. I have very high sense of gratification to make those celebrations memorable.

Where did you learn your culinary skills?

I was born and raised in Italy where I went to culinary school for four years where I graduated, and grew up with Italian food from nonnas and mamma. I had my first experienced in restaurants on the beach of the Mediterranean Sea.

What’s your go-to 15 minute meal at home?

Usually pasta dishes in Amatriciana sauce with pancetta, onions, red wine tomatoes sauce and basil. Or Carbonara.

What does food mean to you?

Food is very important to live; eating good food makes you feel good and happy, makes your body work properly, gets people together. It’s a very important part of our lives.

What menu item are you most proud to serve?

Homemade pastas like Ravioli and Gnocchi.

What was your first position in a restaurant?

Dishwasher and salad - appetizers station.
